In Waste-to-energy planning, often a small number of people have a large amount of influence in making the multi-million pound decisions on the behalf of a county or city community. This website has been provided to fairly inform everyone of the options and issues. What do you think? Should your town take responsibility for its own waste and use the energy locally in homes and business? Do you think that it is better to have one, large central plant? Should we have the cleanest, but more expensive WtE technology? Where should we build them? How much WtE capacity should we have alongside recycling? You can take part in the decision making by writing to your local MP and Councillors at your local authority.
