Examples of small ATT WtE plants

ATT plants are not necessarily small, but some designs available for UK communities have been designed for small-scale projects.   

bristol pyrolysis and gasification waste plantThe picture shows the only ATT plant in the UK at the moment, built by Compact Power of Bristol. It processes 7,500 tonnes of clinical waste a year. The company is currently building a 30,000 tonnes per year plant with Bristol City Council, which will provide 2 Megawatts of electricity or 8 Megawatts of heat to nearby industry. 

Norwegian Stavanger plant which processes 32,000 tonnes per year of household waste.  Energos of the ENER-G group have 6 plants abroad that are based on gasification technology. The picture below shows the Norwegian Stavanger plant which processes 32,000 tonnes per year of household waste. The plant provides 2 Megawatts of electricity and 3 Megawatts of heat for the local district heating network.
